  • Position Overview

    As an Outside Sales Representative with FLEXcon, you will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships, develop new business and provide innovative solutions to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and yours!  This role would be based out of your home and/or our Mississauga Distribution Center, in the Greater Toronto area.  The majority of the territory is Ontario based.  However, there is expected travel to Manitoba and Alberta, two to three times per year and to the U.S. on occasion.

    Basic requirements:

    • University or Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 – 3 years industry field experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 3 – 5 years industry field knowledge
    • Possess a current and valid driver’s license and passport
    • Industrial sales experience a plus
    • Cold calling experience a definite plus
    • Professionalism, high energy and excellent communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
    • Ability to travel by car frequently and by plane 4 – 6 times per year
